Thinking of a New Fursona =3

Yeah, I know what you're thinking and NO I've wanted to do this for a long-ass time now, I just never got around to doing any design. I've kinda outgrown Neo a tad. Don't worry, he'll still live on as one of my many characters

I'm not going to post a poll since tomorrow is my last day as a deviantArt subscriber. Wow, what a wild ride this subby has been. *Begs for some lovely friend to toss him one =3*

I've narrowed my furry choice to a few animals:

A LEMUR or A SKUNK are my top choices/ Both are furs not widely displayed in art or in the community (well, maybe not so much skunk, but lemurs are damn rare). Either choice will have shades of PURPLE instead of black, white, and gray. I'm pretty excited about this new change, and I think it should be a great opportunity to explore my creative design.

One of my ideas was a HEDGEHOG, but I just knew that I would draw him exactly like a Sonic character. I even had an idea to use the Pokemon WEAVILE, but then I was too stumped to figure out where the hair would go in place of the crown thing. I had the idea of using a SQUIRREL as well. That one's not too bad.

In fact, I like all of these choices and it makes it hard to decide >___>;;.

Well..... comment on which is your favorite and tell me why :3

im gonna have to say skunk because i think skunks r cute and skunk anthros look hot!X3besides if skunks r smelly then they must have smelly feet,lolz;3

honestly, this should be your decision since this is your character/fursona that's going to be representing you. But I'll agree with skunks and lemurs being some of the minority of anthro characters I've seen around the net. Hedgehogs, however...it would be tempting to draw Sonic-style and most possibly as a recolor of sorts (which I see EVERYWHERE) unless if you add in a bunch of accessories and such to make it look more original...but I think it'd be best if you drew your character in your style as opposed of basing it on another's (unless you're a beginning artist, which I know you are'nt by now).

Thanks for the insight I agree that most hwedgehogs are based off of the Sonic style, it just loks so well put together that many n00bs love to draw their animals that way. Unfortunately, those are the only hegehog furs I've seen.

The lemur is indeed interesting. It is true it's quite a rarity amongst rarities...

So lemur for me.

(I feel so common with my fox fursona now...)
