On Thursday night, approximately 10pm, I recieved a call that changed the way I look at my life. Somehow, someway, the same sick person who hacked into my computer obtained my cell phone number and decided to harass me with phone calls.
The situation has left me frightened. I do not know how this person obtained my private information, but I'm through.
I'm a nice person, anyone who actually knew me would agree that I am very understanding and likeable. Why I'm the target of this sick man is beyond me.
THEREFORE, in order to keep me and MY FAMILY safe from this stalking psychopath, I will be officially closing my deviantArt and Yahoo accounts.
I might return as someone else, or not. I really do not care at the moment. You guys have been the greatest friends to me and really made me feel good about myself. But, I know that keeping these open makes me and my family a target of some sorts. Call it paranoia, call it whatever you like. I am calm now, and this decision was made after more than 10 hours of thought.
I want the peace of mind I deserve. I don't want to feel worried about someone harassing me becaue I am NeoZidane. I want to ditch my internet life and continue the wonderful life I have with my real life friends and family.
This will come as a shock to many of you, but so did the phonecall with that man and his smug British accent. All I know is that he means business, and I want to keep me and the ones I love safe from harms way.
I'm going to miss you people, but this situation has gotten so serious that it has destroyed any peace of mind that I've developed by ignoring the situation. Don't hate me because I'm leaving, don't spend your time looking for me. When the time is right I'll come out and say hello, but right now I need a long break from the internet.
Zak, please delete my PP account. Nokie, that number you have is no good anymore, I have no number at the moment. I'll talk to you when I can.
CHRIST, I sound like I'm going to die D= I'm not, guys, I'm just leaving the internet for awhile. I'll return when I'm ready. But the lesson is learned:
Be careful about what you say and do. NEVER give your personal information to ANYONE you don't know in person. AND, always remain calm and think whenever something liek this happens.
It's time to end the harassment and end the threats.
